Willyboy 9000 v5.0.1 .681/.692
This is a hybrid for the Bold 9000 device. I recommend uninstalling any other OSís off of your computer and running CCleaner (including registry cleaner) to ensure a clean install. Please back up all your data before proceeding.
-This is meant to install over the LEAKED 184.108.40.2061 base OS. Install this first.
-Run Willyboy 9000 v5.0.1.exe to install the hybrid over the base.
-"Exit" the installer, Shrink-A-OS will pop up. Shrink out all languages you do not need to save space. DO NOT shrink out default fonts and themes.
-If you choose to wipe, now would be the time to do it.
-Launch loader from SAOS. If core applications are missing from loader selection, try launching from BBSAK or BBMCP.
This is a .681/.692 build.
-East Asian Language support is included and fully functional.
-Google Maps, UberTwitter, Twitter for BlackBerry, App World, and Xtreme Labs Speedtest are all included and functional (I fixed the alx's! These are optional during install)
-Includes all stock Blackberry games and IM Applications with loader options.
-Includes an option to install the NEW Driphter.com Mobile Launcher!
-I made BBM an optional install for those of you who don't use it and need memory.
The biggest change here is the new platform for the device, obviously! This allowed me to move the base java up to .681 as opposed to .656. These files typically yield great battery life, so you can expect that once the device settles in. I also kept the new .681 browser so take it for a spin and let me know what you think! As in v4.4, the 9650 .692 files provide the engine that really make this baby run!
It is important to keep in mind that the first couple reboots will take a lot longer than normal. Also, battery life will not be good until the device settles which usually takes 24-48 hours.
HELP SCREEN (alt+shift+h) will read as App Version 220.127.116.119 while the ABOUT SCREEN will read as 18.104.22.1681. If you want to verify you installed otherwise, go to Options>Applications>Menu>Modules and scroll down to see the .692 files.
