Willyboy 9530/9550 v2 .610/.662/.664/.669
This is a hybrid for the Blackberry Storm 1/2 9530/9550 Devices. I recommend uninstalling any other OS’s off of your computer and running CCleaner (including registry cleaner) to ensure a clean install. Please back up all your data before proceeding.
-Depending on what device you have you should install the following BASE OS:
-Run Willyboy 9530/9550 v2.exe to install the hybrid over the base.
-"Exit" the installer, Shrink-A-OS will pop up. Shrink out all languages you do not need to save space. DO NOT shrink out default fonts and themes.
-If you choose to wipe, now would be the time to do it.
-Launch loader from SAOS. If core applications are missing from loader selection, try launching from BBSAK or BBMCP.
This is a .610/.662/.664/.669 build.
-East Asian Languages are supported and fully functional.
-Apps that you have the option of installing also: AppWorld, Google Maps, UberTwitter
-Includes all standard blackberry games and IM applications
-BBM Group Chat keyboard bug is present for 9550 users
I wanted to keep the .610 files present in this one for the superb power management that we all came to know and love in v1.4. So why the new version (v2)? Because we just took a huge jump in files from the .640's to .660's!
The .662 Tour files add some stability to the OS and improved memory management. The .664 Pearl files produce some great benchmarks, so expect fast boot times and great overall UI transitions and performance. The .669 Storm2 files produce some phenomenal Internet speeds so I utilized them here as well. It is important to keep in mind that the first couple reboots will take a lot longer than normal. Also, battery life will not be good until the device settles which usually takes 24-48 hours.
Help Screen and About screen will read as App Version 126.96.36.1992.
Please post your comments and feedback! ENJOY!
