.623 brought back the speed I was missing from .607 and .612 (and anything is better than .607 by itself.) Are there any major benefits to go to .643 so soon? Even if I am a hybrid junkie, I still want a good working phone. :cool2:

OOAK is back!! I bet this hybrid is smoking I will be installing when I get home.

Link still seems to be down!

I am unable to shut off my phone. The power button on the screen or holding down the red bottom right button does not work.I was able to shut down my phone before. Other than that its running smooth. Any help anyone?

I had the same problem.
I went back to 607/623.
Does anyone know if this has been fixed yet?

Hey OOAK can you add the java cod file to power on and off the phone? I did get it to shut off using Quick Launch. Not ideal but it works.

Why would we not install 612 and then add the new Java file for a 9550?

Sorry to the delay, had to update the links. I also added .517 radio versions as well.

.612 was for the 9520 not the 9550.

I am running .607 Base and the .643 Hybrid and I am having MAJOR problems with this Hybrid. I cannot make a call and my Red end button is useless. Any help?

The phone and power off issue has been fixed apparently. If you re download the hybrid, everything should work.

I have now loaded this one on my BB and everything is working perfectly.
No more phone or power off issues. I really don't notice a big difference from the 623 hybrid except that the keyboard seems a bit firmer and makes typing a bit quicker.
Works great, thanks OOAKDPC for the hybrid and the quick fix

Of course if you never called anyone and no one ever called you on your Blackberry and you felt it wasn't necessary to ever turn the darn thing off, then the previous version of this hybrid would do you just fine.
I just crack myself up!!!

FYI, this is quite possibly the BEST my 9550 has EVER run.
A couple of quick findings/ fixes.
1) I couldn't use the pre-shrunk version. It bricked my phone. The unshrunk version with a Shrink A OS use works GREAT!
2) This build brings back a couple of the probs from Lyrics 623 - namely no camera button and cut-off media player in landscape. The fix files from Lyric for the build work for this one too!!!!
