Go and get CCleaner and delete all RIM files from your PC.
ensure your temp files are empty and restart
Load the RIM files up again with a clean OS and good luck.
Sounds like a right beast of a hybrid?
NOTE*
Also, run task manager and shut down ALL processes that start with RIM or Blackberry in there. Just end them.
Run DM again and you should see the difference.
Thats what I do and it usually allowes me to regain control of the device.
I usually find my device wont connect after I have used BBSAK or MCP. But follow the steps I set out and you should get it back on line.
