Thread: Shuck7 612 Tour Hybrid v1.0 Working PTT

This is my first hybrid. Special thanks to Driphter and the D-com team for all of their help and training. This hybrid contains a ton of files from the 5.0.0.612 recent release for the 9520 and runs amazing. Please install over the official Verizon release for the blackberry tour 5.0.0.591. Push to talk is believed to work with this version, it is very snappy, new lock style, and very very quick and working ptt, just be sure to download the app from application center and turn it on in the options.

Instructions
Uninstall all old OS from computer and be sure loader folder is empty. Folder is located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files
Install Official Verizon software version 5.0.0.591 for blackberry tour.
Run Shuck7 612 Tour Hybrid v1.0 installer
shrink out what you don't want - if you want ptt it is recommended you leave application center on the phone to download ptt software, it can be removed after.
Install and Enjoy

Well Shuck... I am gonna try this build out today.

I sure hope this improves the battery life.

Not working for me...

be sure to install over official release from verizon, and do not shrink out application center. download app from application center, turn ptt option on in the options, and be registered for ptt through verizon. works great for me.
