Willyboy 9000 v1.3 .411/.421/.442/.536
This is a hybrid for the Bold 9000 device. This is meant to install over the 184.108.40.2061 base OS. I recommend uninstalling any other OS’s off of your computer and running CCleaner to ensure a clean install. After you install the base OS, run the Willyboy 9000 v1.3.exe and finish the install. Download 9000 220.127.116.111 here
Once you exit the installer, Shrink-A-OS will pop up and give you an opportunity to make the OS you load smaller! This is so valuable for 9000 users because of limited app space. I would recommend shrinking out any and all languages that you do not need. Feel free to shrink out any games or other features and apps that you do not use. However, do NOT shrink out default themes, ringtones, or wallpapers. This will cause your device to not run properly.
Once you are satisfied and have “shrunk”, you can wipe if you choose to. After this, it is time to click the “launch loader” button.
This is a .411/.421/.442/.536 build.
I created this for all those users who had choppy voice in .509 radio and preferred the old lock/standby functions. It is BUILT for the .411 radio. I did not try it on any other platform. For those users that prefer the .509 radio I will have a new one coming for you.
450+ .411 files
25+ .421 files
200+ .442 files
175+ .536 files
This build contains the fastest browser I've ever had on my device. My Bold booted in 1 MINUTE FLAT wiith 20 apps loaded on it and full information databases. Overall UI transitions are seamless and the browser hardly lags at all. One of the benefits of the .411 files are the amazing battery life. Once users run this for a few days and let it settle in they will agree, I'm sure.
View your help screen pressing alt+shift+h at the same time. Your app version will be 18.104.22.1682.
To ensure installation, check applications>modules and scroll for files listed above or read system using BBSAK to verify (you will see .536 modules that way). The first boot took an abnormally long time for me. Please don't let this scare you. I promise once you get past that first load you will be impressed and satisfied. I found there to be almost no memory leak outside of browser caching.
You will not be dissapointed with this hybrid. It makes me almost not want to create a new 509 build! (Just kidding, I still will) I hope you enjoy my work and thanks for the support. Please post your findings and feedback below.

You did not do anything wrong! I'm so sorry that was my fault, I forgot to include those files in this build! Please find a patch below for all the cods you may need.

I have also updated the installer in the link to include the VVM files so anybody that downloads from here on out should be fine.
Sorry for the inconvenience!!

I sent you a PM - I also did not have VVM after installing V1.3 - and, I did re-download the updated installer which you said would include the missing VVM files, but it still did not work.
I also did not have Blackberry Messenger.
Forgot to tell you also - the link to the VVM patches also does not work - says the files are not on the server.

All working great for me. Just over 37Mb free mem, boot time is 90 seconds, key-lock working again and reset device in Meterberry works without any intervention.
This may just be the OS that kills my constant need to upgrade! Thanks for this hybrid Willyboy!
Sorry to have you guys running around in circles here looking for the VVM files.... Please try the link below and follow my instructions from above. Thanks for your patience.
Also, OP link and installer are updated to include the VVM files, so first time downloaders do not need to worry about the patch.
Please be sure the double check that the installer is pointing to the correct loader folder before loading this hybrid!

Still no visual voice mail
Hi again, Willyboy . .
I sent you a PM - still no luck getting VVM into V1.3 . .
What happens when you try to insert the VVM files from the patch into the device via BBSAK? (You don't need all the languages, only the one you plan on using)
I did try that - does not work (that is what I tried initially); when that did not work, I then tried re-downloading a new/clean copy of the installer and tried to run it on a freshly installed (unmodified) .411 from the link you provided. Same problem after doing so.

NEW vvm patch
Thanks - will try the new patch - to make sure I am doing things correctly, should I use BBSak to put these new files into my device OR should I paste the files into the base OS or the V1.3 installer?
If paste into the installer - can you tell me specifically what I should do to accomplish that?
THANKS A TON FOR EVERYTHING!!
If you already have the OS installed on your device, you can use BBSAK to input them into your device. To be sure they installed, feel free to run a "system read" and look for them. If your device doesn't reset, it probably didn't install correctly.

is East Asian Language supported in this version?

"No it does not come with East Asia Support, but here is a patch that you can just throw in the java folder prior to loading. Then when you go to load the OS it should give you the option to include.

I will be sure to include EALS in my next hybrid, sorry for any inconvenience!
