I do have two findings/comments, and a request:

Like other .509s, I am experiencing scratchy/choppy call quality. Can you tell me (us) what the procedure would be to replace the .509 radio with the radio from .464 (which had excellent quality)?

Secondly - like all 5.0s (including .464), re-booting seems to drop the battery level by 20-25%. Not sure this is something that you have control over - just wanted to pass it along.

So - if there is a way to do the radio swap, would appreciate some instructions. BTW - Shrink-A-OS is not up to date - the most recent 5.0 it contains for swapping is 5.0 . . .109.

    Thanks,

    DonH
If you would like to swap the radio, I'd suggest doing it manually, meaning swapping the file in the UMTS or GSM folder, and then reloading your OS. You will have to grab the radio from the other OS that you would like to swap to.

If you prefer, please try to .411 radio that my v1.3 hybrid comes with. If it works better, maybe we can stick with it for a while. I am not trying to take away from Alexander's hybrid, perhaps we both can benefit from this!

Hey again, Willyboy - sent you a PM with description of problem I had trying to install V1.3 - seems related to the version of .411 that I tried - really do want to try your V1.3
