Here is a link to a patch if you storm 1 users encounter any errors. Just download the file, extract the COD's and load with bbsak..
V7 patch
Loaded fine but got an error when booting up and the clock didn't work. Added the patch with BBSAK and everything is running fine. It is subjective and may just be in my mind, but the browser does seem faster.
I cant get V7 to load with or without the patch and I have tried 3 times. It seems like I'll be going back to V6. Man this sucks. Why does there need to be a patch for this hybrid. Why won't it load just as easy as V6. isn't there anyway to fix this without installing a patch? Hopefully V8 will be better and install without so many work arounds.
I had issues with this one on my S2 also...so you aren't alone. For others it has worked flawlessly...I just kept getting "uncaught exception errors". Went back to Lyric's .530

I had to use the patch and now that i'm patched, everything is working smooth so far

Love the snappyness of this OS but is anybody else having a memory leak? V6 was great on memory - v7 seems a bit of a pig?!
My S1 ALWAYS has a memory leak but with all the apps I run,I am happy to get buy on 1 Quickpull a day. Fresh install w no apps boots at arounrd 52 megs.With all apps installed Barely boots up at 10.2!!:aargh4:
But she runs very smooth all the way down to .20 megs left!!

He now has the V8 out and it is sweeeett. To me it runs like the V6 did on .428 very smooth, very fast and most of all no batt drain. very very stable
