Hmmm - Downloaded the file and will install it this evening. Surprised there have been no comments so far, more then 12 hrs after initial posting. Am I missing something here? Or has the 9530 crowd moved on to other devices?

I won't lie, I was thinking the EXACT same thing...

I installed it, weather bug still doesnt update the homescreen icon. Just as of lately I havent been impressed with the newer os's. Thumbnail quality is terrible, and with all the other phones out there, this 9530 just isnt fun anymore.

Downloaded and installed on my 9530 last night. So far, no issues to speak of. Seems very smooth and stable. Using it with the Elle theme and my Berryweather shows up nicely on the homescreen.

So far so good for the most part.

Boot time is around 3 and a half minutes
Running apps to check for memory loss, very little at this point...started with 32.4 mb 2 1/2 hours ago and am still at 31.1
No issues to report with running any apps

Only problem so far is closing folders...its taking 3 or 4 seconds to close a folder and go back to the home screen. Will try a few more reboots later when I have time.

Is this significantly better than .419/.497 hybrid? Just got that installed last week and afraid to mess with my "perfect Storm" now.....especially the blazing fast radio signal.

I thought the same thing and contemplated it for awhile but curiosity got the better of me. So far, I'm glad I did...no issues. Downloaded the Clarion theme from Elicite, 1.5 mb in less than a minute. Overall performance speed seems the same now after a few battery pulls. Memory is still holding good as well.

Does this have the 3G icon and the old Lock screen?

Downloaded last night.

3G is gone again.

Portrait keyboard seems a little more accurate.

No issues with camera (taking or view pictures). Seems to be the fastest OS yet in how quickly it can take a picture and display the picture.

No issues with video camera displaying videos previously recorded.

Pandora and Slacker worked properly.

WeatherBug icon does not update automatically (but hasn't updated with several of the recent OS/hybrids).

AccuWeather icon did update automatically.

Browser doesn't seem any faster or slower.

I seem to have several problems with this Hybrid. First there is no 3G symbol, the lock button does not bring up the lock screen, which also means ultimate lock app does not work now. When you enter bedside mode in clock you can not exit out by clicking on OK anymore and the Boot up is sooooooooooo long now!!!

Agree with you!

lyricidal can you come up with a Version B like you did in the last hybrid that you released that addresses the lock button and the 3G? It would be nice if you can figure out what is causing the Bedside Mode exit issue it started with 419 prior to that it was fine!

One more update battery isn't holding nearly as well as it was in .419/.497 hybrid........

Got back from vacation yesterday and loaded .530 over Lyricidal's .497. Smooth as silk and all apps reinstalled correctly and are working. Did not have to reload any of them as I did with .497. Loaded with 5MB more than with .497 and no drop after 14 hours. Contrary to findings above I find the browser is faster than .497 and the camera is quicker.

Mine started the same thing after downloading and installing Shimmy's time app. Erased the app and did a few battery pulls, battery once again stable.
