I was able to do a wipe but not via JL_cmdr but throughbbsak
and it want ok but I wanted to test OS 5 again so I uploaded it to my phone
(wanted to enjoy abit of Hebrew on a storm)

(I can sand/receive only sms with OS 5)

I hope you will figure out how we will be able to write in hebrew on our storms

one of the problems with hebrew was the suretype addition in .114 i dont know which file causes this. i will try to get a simulator running and work it out.

if anyone else gets it let me know asap and i can add it to my site.

anyone know which 5.0 OS has the hebrew files. i saw it somewhere i just cant find it now

I could add Turkish language input option to the OS 5.X.X.X . And it works from now on. Here is the solution.
The last Turkish input language support OS was 5.0.0.314. After this release , all the other 5 beta releases does not have turkish input option. So i copied the files to the 5.0.0.411 OS Java folder. Here is the files that i copied from .314 release.

After that, i copied (or overwrited) blackberry.alx file from 5.0.0.314 to the 5.0.0.411 to see a Turkish option in the Application Loader menu at the Desktop manager.

After that I installed the Turkish language support with desktop manager. Thats all. it works.

anyone knows if i will take the hebrew cods from 4.7.114 and will plants then into the 5.0.451 hybrid i will get hebrew layout/keyboard on 9530

Afaik, 4.x and 5.x are not compatible, but what you could try is to take the files out of any(!) 5.x regardless of the device it was made for...of course, the closer to your berry architecture, the better...but any should work! So you could DL and install this one!

Yes, I think so, try to do the update with the App loader from RIM, since it offers an auto backup. And yes, except for hybrids I think 419 is the lastest for the 9530...

So what is that 451 version

451 is for the storm 9500 - you could use its JAVA, but imho the CDMA (radio file) will not work properly.

I'm going to us it as gsm not cmda!

still, the 451 radio file was written for a different device, therefore I would be careful...not to say, if I were you, I would not use it...JAVA yes, but not the other OS folders on your PC...

Which latest hybrid os its for 9530?

Try to search for 95xx hybrids ...then you will find e.g. those from Seanren SR (v4) or OOAKDPC (v2) all being released for all the different Storm devices, just requiring different base OS installs on your PC prior to the specific hybrid install...
