Thread: New Xonz Hybrid 483-497 for bold 9000

Kind of annoyed at the fact that RapidShare wont allow me to download it. Grrrrr

any other download sites perhaps beside rapidshare, it seems somehow rapidshare hate me, wont allow me to download. maybe coz i'm a bit cheapskate?

Any other link for download please? Rapidshare server is always busy.

What are the differences between this version and Xonz's v5 1a?

cant report my findings ... bricked my phone, wont start up at all. i do battery pull while connected to usb, now its doing blank lol . have to wait i think,

nah, i batt pull while connected to usb, so kinda wont start, but its fixed now, some kind of infinite loop about booting. i tried this 5.2a ended with 47.2mb free, fast booting, forgot to timer this boot up process... since i'm too happy that my bold is starting.

tools that i installed : bbmaps, bbsmime,dod,memopad,tasks,docs2go

Please reboot 3 times, u can have 50-54 mb

umm just extract it somewhere, and copy paste it to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\xxx\Java, choose version that u install.
in my case C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9000AllLang_v5.0.0.464_P5.2.0.41\Java, overwrite everything.

hmmm when i opened contact on phonebook, somehow the menu wont pop when i pressed the bb button, is it just my blackberry or any other experiencing the same?

how's this one compared to v1a? especially the memory...
LoL... I just realized it's not the same as v1a...

The browser on this hybrid is so fast and a pleasure to use I've deleted Bolt Browser from my BB. Love this hybrid.

ok, i'm confused, what does this hybrid have to do with xonz's hybrid? do I install xonz's hybrid first, then copy these files over it?

Ok, hmm some of the websites that i regularly open wont open/execute properly. Is this something gotta do with the javascript or browser issue? It worked well with normal zain .464

So I downloaded the files, and extracted them - now where ? My C:/Prog.Files/CommonFiles/RIM/Shared/Loader/ [Does not have the .464 that I am running since I simply installed the 5.0.0.464 to my pc.]

Help please.
