Thread: Seanren78 95xx v.6 Hybrid

I checked my average discharge this morning and for the first time EVER, I was 0.3%/hour. Talk about freakin' awesome!!!!

14 hours on this charge so far and i'm down to only 64%.

Just came back to this (v6) hybrid. Tried .451/.497 hybrid, but battery was very erratic and hungry.

Without a doubt, my S2 runs better all around on this hybrid than it ever has. :hail:

Has anyone tried installing the hybrid over .451??? I did and battery life has improved a little and my signal strength for network services seems to be a little better... still a little too early to pinpoint any significant improvements.

I'd thought about it, but hadn't seen any of the usual reputable suspects on this forum or BBHybrids reporting in on having tried it, and I'm leaving in a couple days and will be traveling on business for a week and didn't want to put anything on right now that isn't proven.

And, as noted earlier, SR's v6 over .428 is totally proven on my S2.

I think Am migrating back to V6 myself..Battery on 497H is not up to par for me. Everything else is Excellent but battery is Extremely important for me. Am wandering if SR's V6 is compatible w/451? Holla at me Sean

Asked Sean this question and he told me you can put v.6 over .451

He was running it and it was great!!

Yes, there is some improvements installing v6 over .451. As much as I would like to geek out and give you all the different parameters that have been affected, I'll keep it simple.

Battery life seems better. Browser seems the same. Radio (Network and Wifi) seems much better to me! My signal strength has been more consistent and doesn't seem to drain the battery as much.

I was watching a bunch of YouTube videos last night and was able to make my discharge average change to 2.1%/hour. After stopping, 30 minutes later, I was back down to .4%/hour discharge average. That part is absolutely awesome!

Anyway, I don't see any ill side effects with installing v6 over .451. If anything, there's slight improvements to a awesome hybrid!!!

Once again, hats off to Sean for a great job!

v6 is still the best hybrid I have put on this device, no typing lag still!

I want to load V6 on top of .451 too. I really like the fast loading pictures on the .451 leak but I'm afraid I'll loose that option if I merge the two. Will I loose that or is that part of the radio file?

I'm running v6 on top of .451 and it works great! No issues and you don't lose anything.

Absolutely no regret on my end. In fact, I feel that its much much much much better w/451. Flawless UI all around. Everything just flows Very Very Very Smoothly. You obviously know abt your battery pulls and i do recommend *228 send right after ..Enjoy the Brid...

Yep. V.6 on top of .451 is a great mix. Everything is fast and tight !! Totally recommend !!!
