    9550/9520 - .451 Hybrid (by lyricidal) Findings and Fixes

    I know... yet another hybrid out there... but here is another option

    Instructions:
    1. Install 5.0.0.428 to PC
    2. Install this over 5.0.0.428 folder
    2a. Shrink your OS if you want
    3. Install to phone

    This hybrid includes:
    - Full .451 Java
    - BBM 5.0.0.57
    - Updated: App World, Facebook, Docs2Go
    - BBHybrids Launcher (Optional)
    - Shrink-A-OS (Optional, but recommended)
    - BBSAK (Optional, excellent tool)
    - BlackBerry Master Control Program (Optional, another excellent tool)
    - Multi-language Support

    Instructions:
    1. Install 5.0.0.436 to PC
    2. Install this over 5.0.0.436 folder

    Battery drains so fast, I don't know if the hybrid itself or the apps that I installed that make it drain

    Seems to be a great hybrid for me. Everythings runs VERY smooth and fast, no battery drain, memory is stable. All good on my end.

    two days on it so far seems pretty good very stable, one issue i have noticed, might not be hybrid related more firmware issue to begin with

    when scanning barcode if screen dims and the camera accepts the barcode the screen will not come back on. and a battery pull is required.



    screen click is very good much better then straight .428

    boot time very fast 4 minutes.
