442 patch This will replace most of the remaining 436 files with 442 files (add to java folder and install the OS)

this is the entire 451 java folder with bbm 5.0.0.57, app world, facebook, docs to go etc...


It is only the java, apps, and tools folders

Installation:

Install 428 (9520 users install 436)

delete the java folder in 428 from your pc

install the hybrid (with the installer version you have to choose the os folder to install to)

With the installer version, do you still have to delete the java folder? Doesn't the installer just overwrite the java folder?

No. Install .428 on PC, run installer, shrink if you want, load onto phone.

I downloaded and installed this morning. So far running a bit better than the 436 hybrid as far as reduced lag. Hard to tell a lot yet but will post with more info later.

I wasn't a big fan of the last hybrid and took it off. I had an issue with songs defaulting to a lower volume when the next song started. This one is great. Typing is great, music issue is fixed, flick scroll through contacts is better at the top. Thanks OOAK!

I have been using this since this morning and so far its running great.

A couple of things I have noticed but not sure if they are new to this hybrid or they have been around for a while.

New font type BBGlobalSans.

I can open ZIP files that are attachments in emails. Didn't think that was possible without a third party program.

Very nice Hybrid. Just started running it and did a speed test and came out great!

Not to put you on the spot Sean but, OOAK's Hybrid and yours, which one do you feel works better w/your S2? Don't be Bias now In my opinion, OOAK's last masterpiece didnt work out for me(As you already knew this) ..Not sure why ...Tried yours and Bammm..I think My S2 hugged me..LOL ! No disrespect to OOAK..I've always enjoyed his work. 428/436 was like my S2's worst enemy..Reason why I ask the question, Am just curious. Your Hybrid is working so well on my phone right now, I just dont want to load another Hybrid unless its "DRASTICALLY" better or "DIFFERENT"...

This hybrid seems to be running better than .436. Wish it would leak.

installed .451 yesterday. running flawless without any problem and seems better & faster than .428 while .436 hybrid was creating lot of problems. I had to downgrade my OS from .436 to .428 twice. I used to have call droppings and call fails very frequently and some applications were also not running.

Deleting the other hybrid I was running and loading this one up now

Edit: All installed and loading my 3rd party up, already BES activated. Everything is going good so far

Edit: I have all my apps installed, boot up with 137 megs. BES activated, VERY smooth so far, click is great too

Still running great after a day and half. Much less lag than any previous release or hybrid. Only issue I am working on is battery life. I am doing a second 3 battery pull/full charge routine. Will report back with an update.

I've noticed on my 9550 that all the .428-based hybrids, as well as straight .428, demonstrate irregularities in battery discharge rate, particularly in the first few days after loading.

This one is no different, altho I've only had it loaded for about 18 hours.

I am currently running .428 on my 9550. I've installed leaks before but I've never installed a hybrid OS and don't want to mess up my phone. How is this done?
