Works for the 9500 and 9530


this is the entire 436 java folder with bbm 5.0.0.57, app world, facebook, docs to go etc...


It is only the java, apps, and tools folders

Installation:

Install 419 (9500 users can use 425)

delete the java folder in 419 from your pc

install the hybrid

Any new features in this hybrid or .436? Previous .428 is working great for me. I'll give it a go when I get some feedback on if it's better. Downloaded, installed & shrunk on laptop.

installed nicely, no errors, thanks for the update.

Been running this hybrid for a couple days now and it seems like a slight improvement over the previous hybrids. Battery life seems pretty good, the browser seems to be a little faster but that might be in my head too. I am having a little memory leak but that might be the theme or some apps that I'm running but other than that this one seems like a winner

Installed it over 425 by copying all apps in the hybrid java folder, deleted the 425 java, replaced it with this hybrid java, used shrink a os, installed it via RIM app loader, re-send service books, booted again... and BANG... this is great, smooth and responsive! Lost a few personal settings which were easily restored (übertiwtter, poynt, ....) ...but again the question, where are these java files from, is there a full leak out?

Is there any way to 'add' the _ro language from a different hybrid (419/425/428)? I've tried just adding the _ro files to the java directory, but it doesn't give me the option to install it when I run Loader.exe.

you've put them in the java and it did not show up? That's really strange. Have you tried DM as well - since it will be a kind of "downgrade"?

It lets me install the new hybrid, but without the added _ro language... and I want to install it with the added language.

there is no full leak, there was no exe, or radio. The device they came from was a 9520


As for where it came from, it came from someone who has requested to remain anonymous.

Has this fixed the sms line issue that was in lyricdal's 419/428 hybrid ?

Sorry, cannot help, since I haven't had that issue in the past... I can only tell, that I still do not have any probs with SMS.

My Shrink OS is not shrinking. Anyone else had this problem? I am using a Windows 7 pc.

I got it. I set the program to Run as Administrator and I shut down my Firewall. Don't know which one did it but it is working. Loading my update now.

If you know exactly the required files, here is what you could do to install them. Put them in a separate folder, get yourself a copy of BB MCP here
use the blue arrow icon (Java loader), select the cod files and force them to being transferred to your BB (connected via USB)...re-boot.

Is the .419 base the one that was released by Mobility or is there another version out there that we are suppose to use?
