Hi,OneOfaKindDPC ,this version of hybird is great but there is something wrong.
.wmv and .avi files can not be played by the default player.

I haven't had any problems with this Hybrid. Everything seems to be running flawlessly for me. Memory stable throughout the day with heavy use. Not sure of the battery life, cause I'm on this thing like all day. It's off the charger at 7 & about dead at 4. Music, twitter, surfing the web, FB, yahoo/BBM......... Great Job!

Go To option/ Screen/keybord / Change backlight brightness TO 10. all blackberry screens are bright. brighter than any other phone. get use to this setting and you'll save up to 50% in battery lifeOriginally Posted by BDRAGON

Videos are working just fine for me with this hybrid although I wish there was someway to fix the lines issue with sms...

Have you tried another style? Options/SMS Text, On Conversation Style: change bubbles to stripes...

Hello to all!
I have upgraded my Storm from .148 to .419 and like everything about it...except I can never get EDGE only edge. I had read somewhere else that OOAKDPC had success with radio problems and Tmobile. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. This is a very good forum and nice work OOAKDPC, thank you!!!

not sure about this (wouldn't expect so) since the hybrid will still use the same 419 radio file... what you could try - if you have a working OS 5 radio, take its CDMA folder and replace that of either your current OS or a hybrid one...

I have installed this on a couple friends phones. The speed dials do not work they tell me. Since I have a 9550 I can try it myseld. Has anyone seen this problem?

please help i tried to take the cdma folder from the 5.0.0.419 and replace it with .230 but it loads up but then says error 200 but i find that battery life and signal in my area are better. is this not possible or im i not doing something right

the two builds are not compatible you will need to wipe the device and either load full .230 or full .419

oh man thats a bummer. but thanks alot for the info is there a hybrid thats better ive used them all up till now just cant remember which is better because .436 is not good for battery life:crazy:

I had a problem with the speed dial not working when the keyboard was set to 'full' in portrait mode. When set to Multitap or Suretype, the speed dial worked fine.

Yes, I have had this problem, it is sporadic. It worked fine at first, but the longer I use it the more it happens. I am also having battery issues. I used to only charge every other day, now, it's down to 20% by 7:00 P.M...:crazy:

was told by "someone smarter than me"...that if you set default keyboard to SureType...that should fix the issue.

This is a great Hybrid once again thanks for sharing. However, it appears that i cannot send or receive pictures or files through Yahoo messenger. i once was able to using the .230 OS. Is this i known issue or am i doing something wrong? thanks.
