My First Hybrid OS

I have tried bbcv10, OOAKDPC's 328/344, and Lyricals 328/344, 328/348 Hybrids. I had downloaded 348 and 344 myself but kept having a virtual keyboard issue. What I have is a combination of .328/.344/348 files and with a little from each of the 3 other Hybrids I think I finally got a good combination. Seems pretty solid and fast. This does have BBM5 and is unshrunk. I ran it shrunk and unshrunk for a couple of days. Would like some opinions. Tell me what you think! I am not taking full credit on this as if it wasn't for those other 3 guys I would still be struggling with a very fast OS, but no keyboard.

Install .328 on the PC. if you are not on vzw remove vendor.xml then run this installer. Shrink if desired, and install

Went to d/l and get a "file is temp unavail" error

Seems to be back up. think they are having issues.

.230 leaked OS had key ghosting where a popup would display above the key you were touching, but unfortunately RIM decided not to continue with them:

is this for the 9550 or 9530? pls say 9550

Since youre a hybrid maker now can you be the first to please get the 3g symbol back on a hybrid :1244:

This is my first post here just wanted to say nice work on your first hybrid. I have had it on my storm for a short time but it is working great so far.

Getting the 3g symbol back is relatively easy, getting the 3g a keyboard and virtually no memory leaks, not so easy. I'm working on it though.

+1 on the 3G symbol. the 1XEV just doesn't have the cool factor.

Challenge - Downloaded and installed the hybrid.
Cannot seem to get my third parry apps back on.
Have done this many times already (love trying new things) and this is a first.
Use BBSAK - both the "Resore Apss" option and the " install CDD" but it won't go.
Any ideas why?

Update - Pulled the battery several times (5, I think) and now it seems to work.

I've had your hybrid installed for about 10 days & one thing I've noticed is that when I try downloading new applications OTA, I can't open the apps after they've downloaded properly. Now, I admit I'm a n00b at hybrid OSes, so I may have misdiagnosed the problem, but I hadn't witnessed this prior to installing the hybrid. I like a lot of other things about it & would like to keep it, but can't with my current issues. The only Apps that have worked after downloading are the new Beta for ÜT & eBay. Any thoughts?

Options>applications
Menu key and Set 'default' permissions to allow all, save. Then go back into default permissions and hit the menu key again and apply default permissions to all. Batt pull. U should be set after that. Remember this as all .328 hybrids need the permissions adjusted.
