I use my Tour as my music player, just as one might use an Ipod. I am using the native music player that comes with the OS. Is there another music player for the tour?

I wonder if just the media player files from the 4.7 OS could be inserted into this hybrid?
[edit] - I made a new thread in the main Tour page, since this isn't specifically related to the Hybrid. New post here.

Great hybrid and upgrade!
I went to .230 a while back, but downgraded to stock OS because of issues with Audible and VZAccess Manager.
With this latest hybrid update, the Audible program is working great (also because they released support for 5.0 OS).
Is there any way for me to get VZAccess to recognize / authenticate my device? I use the tethering function quite a bit.
The device will be recognized, prompt for my password, VZAccess will state "configuring device," but then state "Device not available."
I assume this is because we remove the Vendor file (or some other authentication piece). Any way around this? Can we modify the vendor.xml file to list the new core files being used?
Of course TetherBerry is out there, but I'm not too keen sending all my data through someone's random server. VZ may not be much safer, but...
Thanks again for the great site, great people, and great information!
All the best

Hello,
Juicy welcome to blackberryos.... I recently converted from ppcgeeks and glad to see you are on here as well.... couple of questions for you to confirm,
1. Will this hybrid work on BlkBerry not on Verizon network?
2. Based on your instructions and several comments found, will I need to copy over each update posted (R0, R1, and R2) to get your latest updates as a first time user? or can I just download R2 and proceed as instructed?

First off Welcome to Blackberryos...
I too converted over from PPCGeeks...
1. This Hybrid is for the 9630/Tour Sprint,Verizon,Telus etc etc...
2. Open up Juicy's folder still you see all the files and folders ie..CDMA folder,JAVA folder etc etc...
copy everything and paste it inside> C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9630AMEA_v5.0.0.230_P4.2.0.61 folder...
this is all after you install 5.0.0.230 on your computer, restart your computer, delete the vendor file...

How is this better or different than the leaked .230?
Consider this a sup up version of .230, better yet Hybridized version of .230..Enjoy
This isn't the normal .230 after you add these files..lol
Merry Christmas all..!!
Juicy need I to wake up the R3 version...lol
