9900 Bluetooth Issue
I have a bb 9900 have been having a issue with the Bluetooth, in chips in and out (starts & stops) when connected to any Bluetooth headset however it works well otherwise.. Tried all the possible OS updates & downgrades with the blackberry software tool (computer app) but still the same with the Bluetooth when connected to a headset..
perhaps the Bluetooth system file have to be changed, if so how??..
MY Current OS Version: 7.0 bundle 2406 (v184.108.40.2065, platform 220.127.116.114)
Any One Please & thanks!!
!!!Awesome!!! Here's the deal, that annoying issue with the blue tooth is finally fixed.. here's how for those with similar issues (low signal range).. if all things in the software is alright, but the problem still persists its actually a hardware issue.. when it comes to signal there are some ribbons/metallic contacts on the mother bored & housing, so basically what u would want to do is examine each & every one of them to ensure that the ones on the mother-bored is making contact with the ones on the housing (scratches on one or both contact surfaces normally indicates this).. cause they might be bent out of the contact position..
There you have it, that's what i did however I am a Mechanical Engineer & also a Technician so naturally i have knowledge about this stuff.. but never took the time to really look into the matter personally..
Find the latest 7.1 os for the 9900 and update. There have been improvements since 7.0 and it should fix the bluetooth issue.
Already tried all new OS including the 7.1's latest but the issue still persist though.. don't know why?
