Welcome to the club. No help here. Does your BB Software Manager see your pin? If it does, you good. If not, you got a brick.

Yes Ukkram, the software still recognises my pin, so how do I go about getting my phone's light to stop blinking and actually come on again?....

Cuz now when I turn it on the screen is black and just the light blinks on and off.....pls advise...

Lucky you. Mine does not recognize the pin so hardware failure.
    Yours is easy fix.
    1. Download the OS from your service provider or from another vendor but you will have to delete the Vendor files.
    2. Open BB Desktop Software Manager. Do not plug in your phone. Your device will show there.Click "Forget Device" and close the program.
    3. Now go to MyComputer/c/programs/common files/research in motion.
    4. In the Research In Motion folder you will find Apploader on top. Click on it.
    5. Near the top you will see a file" Loader" with a tiny pic of a cellphone. Click on it.
    6. Application Loader will open. Remove battery from device.
    7. Click "Next" and plug in the device.
    8. Wait for "Unknown Pin" to show in the box then click "Next".
    9. A box opens with all the apps. Chose or uncheck those that you don't want.
    10. Click "next" or "install". ( can't remember what comes up but just carry on with the instructions) You can now reinstal the battery.
If it seems to stall then just wait. It might take 10 mins or 30. Just wait.
    Post back please.
