How to find that memory leak! Part 1 of 3

A new post in the BlackBerry developers log by "Kamen" begins to explain exactly what a memory leak is and potential causes. Some of this has been discussed here and there throughout our site, but for new and old BlackBerry users alike, information is power. Lately, it seems this is one of the best topics to learn as much about as you can.

True. But for the users like us, we have to rely on programs to clean up wasted memory. Is there an automated way to clean up the BBY?

Are you using the built in Memory Cleaner on the device?

So far on my 9500 the Memory Cleaning app only restores like several hundred KBs of application memory, so not that good after all.
