New Weekly Blackberry Rant - #1

Well, its 2am and frankly I'm bored. I've spent the past hour or two looking through different Blackberry sites and reading the 'rumors' and everything else I find interesting. What I noticed a lot was how everyone keeps talking about leaked operating software. It got me to thinking how amazing the blackberry users have become, hm, whats the word I'm trying to think of? Selfish?
You guys have gotten so used to operating softwares to be leaked and expect them to. If one is not leaked with in a week or two after the previous one has leaked you guys become lions! On certain forums, which will remain nameless but won't take a genious to figure it out, you guys attack each other until you guys form a cult and start going on a rampage wanting and demanding a new leaked OS. And once someone posts up an actual question, you guys revert back to your savage beast persona and start attacking again. I can't even imagine what you guys would be like if operating software were never leaked out at all. What would you guys do then? Oh yes, thats right, you will still attack everyone who posts something. Its sad that someone can't ask a question with out getting attacked. Thats why I love BlackberryOS, there is no attacking people, the people here are awesome to talk to. Ya so they are not as big or popular as the others out there but they will, because they actually help people and respect people. They have a team to ensure that no flaming goes on or something goes unanswered. There are not posts asking when an official OS will be out. Be thankful youre getting the leaked operating softwares you are getting. Damn people.
The best one this week was the post I sent to BlackberryOS about how April 1st theres a good chance .185 will be released. Did not take long for that to get out and instantly like flys on shit the attacking begins. Maybe if people stopped feeling better about themselves or thinking they are cool on the site because they have "internet balls" to belittle someone for asking and/or sharing news. Its sad that your internet ego syndrome which you think makes you look cool really only makes you look like an ass.

Ok, this is the end of my rant on this one. I'm sure I'll have something to rant about tomorrow! Feel free to post and flame away :-p

Great Post and its good to rant. I agree this is why i joined BBOS. BTW F@#K U CRACKBERRY.COM Yes i wont hide behind my screen crackberry sucks and this site will surpass them. I also have balls in real life not just the internet.
Good to have people with brains here on this site.

Good to have people with brains here on this site.

now. Take 3 deep breaths, and count to 10. lol j/k. I get your point, but have to understand that as a "Whole", Crackberry is great wealth of information and is full of very knowledgeable people. It is the 3-5% of people that use Crackberry as a means of showing off there "internet muscles". And it is these people, that ruin the forum experience. I think people like this are just "haters" to anything they don't understand or don't believe. If you haven't noticed, they have been trying to rectify this by banning a few of the "hater 'tards", but there are still post trolls. You also need to understand that Blackberry has created a whole new demographic with the Storm, and has drawn in a younger and less mature group of people. This is not necessarily a good thing, as you can see. BlackberryOS is trying to take a different approach. Our leaders are more interactive with helping and pointing people in the right direction. As this site grows, the members will kinda, as Crackberry does, take over with the help and direction, because of the logistics of numbers. At that point, the leaders will have to be more focused on preventing all the above problems.

Yeah I know exactly what you're talking about and where you read that LOL. I just messaged a guy this morning on a certain site to come here if he wants real answers. I would say close to 70% of the posts are of guys flaming the OP for asking a simple question. Also you are so right on about the leaks! Too funny...

I wish more people would understand what the storm has done , instead of kids talking about the new flip phone , or the phone that slides up , they want a blackberry. these kids think its just like a IBONER , but for alot of us , it is still a business phone. i think this is why the storm forums have become so hard to go to and enjoy
