Thread: Back window... or whats left of it

My back window AFTER a hail storm blew threw.

Windows are easy and not terribly expensive to replace. Hopefully you don't have any dents.

That looks terrible....I didn't know it could hail that hard Hopefully you get it fixed soon

Dented? It lookes like a red golf ball. They totaled the car. Over $8k to "fix" it. But only worth about $6,200... Apparently the broken OUT back window caused water to get inside the car, and they'd have to replace the carpet, seats etc.

AND, like a dumbass, i didn't get GAP insurance. SO, now I have to pay for a car I don't even have anymore. mfg:

My wife asked me "What if we don't make the payments, its not like they can reposses it?"

ooooh....that's kind of nasty....what size of hail did where you getting?

The stuff that took out my car was golf ball size. It was really cool looking. Had a white core, about the size of a pea, and the rest was clear. SUPER hard.

Thats why I've gotten GAP on my last 2 cars and my wifes car. It would kill me to send out a check for a car that was crush and sold to China.

I would send the the wreckers address and tell them they can come and get it. I wouldnt pay a dime for a car i didnt own or get to drive. ( dont tell gmac as i am upside down on my truck due to the economy )
