Thread: Verizon Getting Blackberry 8530 In Two Colors

The folks over at BerryScoop received this picture today showing two dummy Blackberry 8530 smartphones. One of the 8530s is going to be black as expected, but the other will come in Lavender. No other details were reported, so I would expect more info on price and release date to leak very soon.

I will have to pass on that...yuck...I played with the phone at TMo and was not very impressed with it...

How is the trackpad? I like to use the trackpad on my laptop but the area looks so small that I don't know how well it would work.

I have never used one yet, but BBOS got the 8520 and said the trackpad was the best part of the phone. So I imagine it's pretty darn good.

Maybe I'll have to see the Tmobile Gypsies in the mall and ask to try the phone out to see how I like the trackpad.

More like a souped down purple since its lighter. Also who would have thought that olive is the complementary color of lavender.

As a side note I have lavender planted in the front of my house and when it blooms in the spring it makes the house smell nice and look extra purdy.
