5.7, yeah baby, now we're talking. Worked great for General Motors for over 30 years so let's put one under the hood of my Storm and let the good times roll :burnout:
When in doubt, pull the battery out!

Makes no sense. One shows Version 5.7.XXX, Platform 4.2 and the other 5.7.XXX and Platform 4.1

Hate be a skeptic but those numbers seems very suspicious.

I would even be willing to go as far as to say maybe the model numbers are real, but the os has been photo shopped? why you would do that?? who knows

For attention... there are a lot of those on forums these days

As for the OS, unless someone like Crucial would confirm a 5.7 exists, I find it hard to believe.

I agree J. I find it hard to believe that RIM went from 5.0 and 5.1 to OS 5.7. The model numbers have been around for a while, so I'm leaning to real on those, but the OS has me very skeptical.

The model number I have no issue with as I have heard those tossed around. But those OS's make no sense. We know there 5.1 but that RIM has stopped those and gone back to 5.0. To go to 5.7 hard to believe. Just my two cents.

What about the 9900 then? To me that looks like it's a touch device, why wouldn't RIM put the touch platform on that one as well?

exactly there are to many conflictin reports on the os... the model numbers absolutley will believe, os not until, like jl stated, crucial or someone can confirm.

    Thread Cleaned UP.

Let's try and keep this civil everyone. All of this is speculation of course, so lets remember that people are entitled to their opinion.

It will all be real when I have one in my hand. Three months is not a long time to wait. Then we will post our new about screens and wait for leaks...
