Question Confusion in buying a blackberry z30 vs classic vs z20 (rio) 2015

i have been thinking of getting a blackberry this year, at latest..in May..(and that will be my first ever smartphone)
Well, my question is that should i get a z30, or a classic? (and there are rumors about the upcoming bb rio..should i take that into consideration) i can stretch my budget till $470, though the classic might be costlier, i can manage some plus minus in the budget..
And one more important thing is that i'm in India..and we have band 40 (2300 MHz) 4g tdd lte, will BB ever release any device that supports that (before i buy one)?
Though, device supporting fdd lte band 3 will work..as carriers are planning to provide 1800MHz 4g band..

    Hi mate,

I personally don't think that there is much differences in terms of functionality. Excepts minor cosmetic changes.
At the end is a probably just a question of design preferences and budget.

    Cheers
    Kal

well, i don't actually have any problem with their designs.. but i would probably use my BB device for years.. so, will Z30 will become OUTDATED sooner than the Classic or the Z20??

    Hi there,

first thing first, the Z30 and the classic are totally two different devices so choosing between those 2 should be based on your preference. Looking at the Rio leaks, specifically the Z30 and the Rio are almost identical in the specs sheet so you shouldn't be scared about it being outdated. One thing that might you want to take into consideration is about the after sales service. There is a probability that the Z30 will discontinue this year as BlackBerry will most likely launch a new high-end all-touch device to replace the Z30. If the Rio is real and the specs are as on the leaks, I think it is a better choice.
