Thread: Blackberry OS 5.0 to have tabbed browsing

Here's what seems like good news for some of you who are fans of tabbed browsing.
I just received a tweet from BGR that says Blackberry OS 5.0 will include tabbed browsing.
Supposedly, Blackberry has been working on this for over a year.

However, tabbed browsing on OS 5.0 is not a one step process, like it is on your desktop.
To open a new tab you have to hit Menu, then select Tabs, and then to New Tab. Switching
between opened tabs requires the same process as there is no keyboard shortcut available as of now.

I am not a fan of tab browsing on my desktop, but any innovation from Blackberry is always welcome.

Yeah I'm dying to have all devices to have OS 5.0.0

very cool post. tab browsing will be great to have on the phone. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the BIG 5.0~!

tab browsing will be amazing , now if you we can find the perfect OS we will all be happy , PS if there are more improvments like BBM 5.0 and Tab browsing it sounds like this 5.0 OS thing will be great
