    Verizon where is VZ Navigator?

I actually found it disappointing at first to find VZ Navigator not on my Z10. Nor did I find BlackBerry Navigator or BlackBerry Traffic for that matter. There is an app for Wise Pilot at 19.99 for the year. What I didn't realize was how good the maps application really was. I mean it's not perfect but after all the flack it got from some of the forums it really works pretty well. It has turn by turn navigation and for the most part has been on the money. Where I'm concerned I'm on the road all the time and I appreciate even more daily. Has anyone else tried the BlackBerry Maps app on there phone? Any thoughts.?

Did AT&T furnish their navigation app with Z10?

Don't think that the VZ Navigator will be on BB10. With BlackBerry having their own great native Maps, there is no need for Verizon to do the extra footwork.

According to the Verizon reps I've talked to, it's in the works. It's been provided with every other BlackBerry they've had, so the idea it will come to BB10 is plausible. In the meantime, Blackberry Maps is decent, but my favorite is Mireo as of now. I recently downloaded the 7 day trial and loved it. With a beautiful interface, fast and accurate gps and smooth as ice movement, I really like it a lot. Best part of Mireo to me is that it doesn't use my data. The maps are downloaded (like my Tom Tom that I just gave to my wife) so navigating won't burn up my 2g Verizon plan. So, at this point I couldn't care less if Verizon does or does not give us their navigation. At $5 per month, it will cost me $60 a year compared to the $19.99 I just paid for Mireo.

Anyway, that's one opinion from a BlackBerryaholic like me.

Yeah I was just wondering . You get so used to seeing an icon on your screen and all of a sudden it's not there it has a funny affect on you. Again I think the maps fill in pretty nicely not perfectly but nicely. As a backup I decided to try out Wisepilot for a year also. of course I still have my grandfather contract with them because I refuse to give up the ship and they probably hate me for it with amount of data I use. LOL
