So, I was kinda bored earlier and wanted to see just how big RIM was. So I checked out each one of their 'known' locations which are, Waterloo ; Ottowa ; Mississauga ; Irving, Tx and some where over in Europe. I thought I would share these locations for the people who don't know. First we have the actual RIM Headquarters, located in Waterloo, ON. For the few people (i know there are some) that is Ontario, in Canada. The big long piece of land that stretches from one side of the US to the other side above us. :439:Anyways. Their headquarters is huge! It's like a college campus. They have 24 buildings. Building #1 - 23 and then a Building A. On the map below shows the actual building numbers. For some reason there is no building # 21, probably because it is a "secret" but I think its odd if you look at the map below, that big huge building across the street from building 11 and 12...remains numberless, and sits in the middle of RIM HQ campus. Unfortunetly, I could not get a closer view to show ALL the buildings at a closer level. Buildings 18,19,20,22 and 23 are not visible on this map. I was told that they manufacture Blackberry devices all over. The only information RIM supplied was that they are manufactured in Waterloo. Wouldn't tell me which building but it would not take a genius to figure out which one. Building #13. In error, I put the number over the wrong building. Its the building directly south of where #13 is. That is the building that 'produces' the Blackberry devices. I know there are other places and I will get to them later tonight.
Now, back to this unknown huge building that is in the middle of the RIM HQ Campus. Below is a picture of it zoomed in. I find it odd how this big building in the middle of their campus is not listed in their directory. Whether it really belongs to RIM, I don't know. Just odd how their directory, they skip over Building 21 and this building is not listed.
If anyone can clear this up I would love to know.
Here is their building in Ottowa, ON. It is the larger building. Boring old offices.

And this is the building they have a suite in located in Irving, Texas. Suite # 430.
And here is their new building over in the U.K.
Now, I know they have other various buildings (tech support, etc) located places but I really can not find where they are located. Nor can I find these "manufacturing" places either. I do know they have a tech building in Singapore, a new IT building in Halifax, NS which I found but not sure which building it is. On the imaging there was a building then a building under construction. I also am aware of the new data center which will be in Alpharetta, GA next to the Next Point Mall. Those are the only ones I am aware of.
Any one know of any places we can add to the collection of images?
