I'm happy to anounce that the playbook now shows on my PC as it did not want to connect before but I overcame it, I'm now able to sync and back up files flowlessly
Yeah I'm happyyyyy now.....

Yeah, what Joe said! There are sometimes fellow BlackBerry brethren who have issues like that and your solution could very well be their solution. So, how did ya do it?!?
BB then, now, forever!
The problem was with the Firewall of the anti-virus I'm using AVG internet security, if the firewall is set to block all, I believe it also blocks the playbook, I tried many suggestions from forum to forum but never worked, but when I just enabled the firewall to allow all the playbook shows with no hustle, the Playbook is a network drive and that's why the anti-viruses block it with the firewall, This I noticed a while back when I connected it at work, it showed up a message saying "connected device is a threat the system" but I allowed it to connect and it worked...
I'm not assuring everyone that it will work, because it might not be the anti-virus blocking access to it, BUT people with the problem of not seeing the playbook on the "my computer or computer" must try and set the firewall to allow all, if it is set to block all the playbook will never connect to the pc
People try it out and post back good luck, mine is working never gave up trying....
Thankx
