Unified Inbox
Hi All,
Iam currently using 9900 and always have one single row of apps on my home screen. i used to have contacts, two mail account boxes, text msg folder, BBM and tasks on the first row. the unified inbox was always on the second row which was hidden. Ive noticed the same with a lot of my friends too. But ever since i started seeing BB10 leaks, i was so impressed with the BB HUB that i started using unified inbox as my primary messaging folder. now i have the Unified inbox folder on the first row and the other two mail boxes have gone to the second row. and it actually makes sense. more convinient and i have an extra slot to stick my calender app on the first row. now, im more excited for BB HUB on BB10 than before.
I think RIM have a clear differentiator with BB HUB from other OSs. This is something, in my opinion, one will appreciate only if they use it. But we have this feature for ages. may be not as sexy as on BB10 but we still do.
so im posting this thread, which is my first thread, to see if other team BlackBerry members are doing the same. Or r u still using multiple email folders i/o unified inbox? post your comments below and it would be interesting to see the results.
Thank you,

I use both. But for the most part I direct all to my unified inbox.

I have recently changed how I do my mail folders. In the past, I had always used the unified box for my 3 email accounts (never for Facebook or Twitter messages). But a few months ago I started another email account and really started organizing my accounts for specific areas of my life. I have a work email, a friends/family email, an "accounts etc" email and a forums email. So what I did (I too like my mailbox on the top row) is to create a folder! I call it "Mailbox". It sits on the top row in the #1 slot and it contains all 4 of my email accounts. So now I have one single icon to go to and from there I can check each account separately. Works for me!
Thanks for posting! Personalization is a huge part of what I love about BlackBerry so thanks for sharing! Have a great day!

I just have everything except for text messages go into the messages folder.

yup me too. Text msgs, i feel, are better off when kept seperate.
