Which BB OS does tigertext work on?

At work my boss asked me to figure out if our doctors (I work at a large doctors office) could use their BB, iphones and ipads to send patient info in text messages. This is difficult in the US because of the HIPAA laws on patient info.

After looking around I found Tigertext, which is HIPAA compliant texting app, that's like BB in that it is on it's own network, but also features an automatic text message deletion after XX period of time. I think it is similar to BB, but it can work across platform which BB can't.

I looked on their website, and some big hospitals are using them.

Has anyone any experience with Tigertext?

Also says it's compatible for devices running OS 4.5 and higher. However, after reading a few of the reviews, sounds like some users have had issues with compatibility.

You, ehem... I mean they, should def update this app for upcoming BlackBerry 10 OS as well. ;)

Your messing with a very fine line here. Texting and HIPAA do not mix very well, in fact is a clear violation. Although there are programs like Tigertext that "sandbox" text messages so that they can be controlled, the risk of leaking patient information is much greater. This is something that your going to have to do some research on and make sure that this program is in fact HIPAA compliant. The last thing you want to do is subject the doctors and the office to lawsuits and fines.
