Hi, 4G playbook looks good,but will there be a 3G+Hsdpa version? For UK and Europe?,
and is sim card standard or micro ?,

As far as I know the PlayBook 4G will work with existing HSPA+ '3G' networks, however, it is currently sold and locked to carriers in Canada. We do not know the specifics of whether any carriers outside of Canada will have it at this time but we will let you know as soon as we find out .

Thanks for your post, good to hear it will use 3G+ as 4G will not arrive 2014?? In UK,

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a PlayBook 2 or the arrival of an additional model but N4BB has reported that they’re really coming this time. Really.TechCrunch speculates that the 7-inch will feature the exact same hardware as the original PlayBook — but that it will finally be upgraded to include 3G connectivity. That’s been rumored to be coming for a long time, too, but 9 months after the debut of the Wi-Fi only tablet it’s still the only option on store shelves.

Yes, the current PlayBook 4G does support 3G HSPA, I've got a review unit which just arrived today.

4G LTE PlayBook has been available in Canada since August 9th, 2012.

It will likely make its way to other countries within the next few months.

Scroll down to connectivity and you will see 3G listed.

It has a MicroSim slot.
