Hello BoldSheena, and welcome to
We all know that things over at RIM is not the best at the moment, but people need to know and be re-assured that everything will be ok down the road.
Mistakes at the company were done in the past, and I know things can only get better at RIM with their upcoming BlackBerry 10 smartphone, as I'm personally very excited to attend their BlackBerry 10 Jam Tour on June 21, 2012, in Toronto, Ontario,Canada.
Many improvements are ongoing everyday, some native and third party applications take time, some will be released sooner than later, such as Twitter For BlackBerry Version 3.1.0.11 Now Available In Beta Zone.
If also doesn't help that the media keeps on bashing RIM for every little bad news, which has unfortunately driven RIM's stock market price further lower than it really should be at the current moment.
People need to listen to the facts, and not buy into every little negative news you hear, after all most of us know that bad news sells, it's just how we humans are when it comes to catching our attention.
Let's hope when RIM brings out some great positive news, people need to appreciate that RIM is trying their damn best making a bad situation into the best they can.
Thank you.
Right.. It's our company too. Let's keep out fingers crossed.
As grimreaper mentioned, I am also very excited to be attending BlackBerry 10 Jam Toronto. RIM isn't in the best situation right now, although I still think they can manage. A few things to remember about RIM is that they do have a decent amount of liquid cash, also they do have a number of assets and buildings etc if things don't go so well after BlackBerry 10. A lot of the time I see posts about will RIM survive until BB10 launches, and I think that's the wrong question that we shouldn't be concerned about, rather the right question would be how well can RIM execute their game plan for BlackBerry 10.
There is a lot to consider such as the logistics, the supply, the demand, getting the price right, the hardware and software itself, and so forth. What we really need is not another PlayBook launch (amazing product but unfinished software at the time of release) but what we do need is another 8300 launch (decent product but everything went right).
I think we will see a new "day" for RIM when BB10 comes out![]()

Hello F0xx386 and welcome to
The very first post was on June 5, 2012, and it was from another member of our site, so where some parts of the world may be selling well, in other parts, the picture may be different, with obvious factors to consider.
The news media has been focusing on the negative aspects of RIM, whereas RIM has led a very successful launch of the upcoming soon to be released BlackBerry 10, which some have speculated will be available sometime in October 2012.
I'm happy to see that South Africa is selling many BlackBerry devices
To any other member or guest of BlackBerryOS.com who owns a BlackBerry device, if you require any help, we will be there for you!
Thank you.
Considering the reviews of ios6... I think well be fine![]()
Yea, unless Apple does something about the lack of multi-tasking on iOS 6, it's going to be a rough 2013 for the iPhone.

Dude signatures only came to the phone for emails.... Srsly?? This is the competition lol.
Users getting nervous? You can only imagine how nervous the stockholders are.
RIM are still going strong in the UK too one thing i have noticed from following you guys on Twitter is there seems to be a lot of bloggers in the US who seem to want RIM to fail why is this?
Alot of media out there promoting possible collapse of rim etc going on rumours... Hits i guess.... Not in uk news alot lol
yes Users getting nervous.
It's a combination of a lot of things. I'm pretty sure RIM not being an American corporation also has a bit to do with it. Essentially because there's much less anti RIM sentiments in the UK and Europe in general this is why RIM has chosen to launch BlackBerry 10 smartphones in Europe first.
