Thread: OS6.0.706 battery life for bb 9300

Good day all.

1. Battery life on my BB 9300 has reduced since I upgraded from Os6.0.666 to 6.0.706 and the phone shuts down at 20%. I want to revert to 6.0.666 or 6.0.600. Which Os amongst 6.0.6..... series is best for managing my battery and fone.

2. Which is the best OS shrinker and how should it be used?

3. Is there another good mobile browser since the exit of Bolt browser which doesn't force you to the mobile version of a site. Opera directs you to the mobile version which I don't like.

4. Amongst the phones running OS7, which ones has the best battery life

I have personally installed OS6.0.0.723 on my friend's BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 device, and he is very satisfied with this latest OS.

In regards to shrinking the BlackBerry OS, I use BBH-Tool v2.4.9.5, available below, and I just use the BlackBerry mobile browser, which is the best in my opinion.

As for battery life, there are many factors involved, so I cannot give you a precise answer, but the newest BlackBerry OS7 devices should be better overall.

Anytime justvictor, if I may suggest, always make a regular habit of backing up your BlackBerry device data every week/month via BlackBerry (DM) Desktop Manager Software (for PC or Mac).

This way, God forbid, something happens to your device, and you loose all your data, it could be devastating to some users.
