Thread: Selling a Curve but need to clear the data (e-mail etc)

Someone wants to buy my old Curve 9300 but it still shows my e-mail address etc in it, even with no sim card inside.

How do I get rid of this type of info, so the buyer has a "clean" OS and details?

Hi Paul, go to Options> Security > Security Wipe

I have provided a screen shot below to make it easier for you or anyone else who needs to perform this wipe.

Note: the data will be wiped permanently, so please remember this before you wipe the device.

Confirmation enter "blackberry" to confirm wipe.



Now your BlackBerry Curve 9300 will be available to whomever you wish to sell it to.
