when will the storm break it's current 4.7.xxx OS cycle? Is 5.0 on the horizon? Or will that be relegated to the storm 2?

I have a friend who's a VZW Acct. Executive. He simply said 5.0 is coming and so is the storm2 today. I asked which first and he said no comment. Leads me to believe maybe very close together.
