    BBM Groups problem

Hi, I hope someone can help me. We are 10 members on a closed BBM group. From time to time it happens that some members don't see someone elses post. we have tried everything but 2 of the members can't see each other on the group even though they are both on the member list. We have recreated the group, removed and add them. They even deleted each other as contacts and adding again. But still they can't see each other's posts.

    Welcome to Ellistwins

You may need to rebuild the group, as that will usually resolve your issue, but you may need to take it a step further if rebuilding doesn't solve it.

    • Completely remove all group member contacts.

    • Make an email of all pins, distribute it to the members, and then set a time for all to have finished deleting each other.

    • Once it's passed, you all re-add to each other's BBM, and create the group once again.

Seems the RIM servers can glitch here and there, it happens.

BlackBerry users have to remember, BBM is a complicated system that we like very much, and to be honest I'm amazed that with so many BBM member's & groups, RIM's massive computer servers has been doing an excellent job keeping it under control.

What version of BBM are these two contacts running? I encountered this issue a little while back and it was resolved when both of these contacts updated their BBM version. The latest out is BBM 6.1 which they can download OTA on their BlackBerry by going to www.blackberry.com/messenger.

Just as a recommendation, all members of the group should download and install the new version of BBM as it dramatically improves groups and how they function.
