I am having problems accessing blackberry maps on my 9900. Everything was working fine, maps, gps etc but after an OS update the maps icon is gone and now the gps no longer picks up my location. Any help would be appreciated.

1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc...
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?
If still not there, reinstall it.
Connect to the PC.
Open Desktop Manager > Application Loader > Update > do you see it listed there with a check box or not?
I have the same thing on my phone. Just updated to 7.1 and maps icon is gone. I can see it in applications (under options). Also if I search for something from homescreen it gives me the blackberry maps search option and I can then access application from there. So I know the application is there and working, just not easily accessible...
