Thread: BIS/BES Outage All Carriers effected no ETA

I just got this email letting me know about an Outage today.

If you have msn or hotmail email address; you may have noticed this morning that your email was not coming through.

There was Windows Live/Blackberry update overnight which unvalidated EVERYONE’S hotmail.

Due to this everyone logging into BIS site via device/webclient is experiancing lagging and errors when trying to revalidate, then basically
BIS decided to crash all together.

Affected Services: Service Applications – Blackberry
Remedy Ticket#: 1919736
Additional Info: BlackBerry Internet Service subscribers may experience delays in receiving messages from integrated email accounts. DSO Maintenance and ASP Teams are engaged.

Some users might have gotten notification from RIM or their carrier of this need to validate their accounts.

Thanks E. FYI everything is working fine in Los Angeles but still no BT :lmao:

no issues in northern nj yet, even my bt works

Seem to be receiving emails but unable to get onto email server to check email settings or send service books (if I had to).

toy, did you try the bis site on the pc? it just let me log in for the first time today but still get on with my phone.

Tried earlier without success. Do you have the link handy? I can try again. Still no good with device.

It does Not appear to be recognizing my sign in info but if I try to create a new account using my Pin and the other requested number, it tells me the account already exists. So, it appears to be still a little flakey.

yea, i signed out and went to sign back in and my username and password is not being accepted now...
