Thread: Need help urgently

Hello everyone, am using a BB 9850 torch verizon to b precise but I unlocked it so am using it with a deffrent line now. My problem is sometimes if someone tries calling, the fone wouldn't ring out n if I pick the call I wouldn't hear what the person is say until I remove the battery n insert it back. And a friend of mine is having similar problem with is verizon 9930. Pls would really appreciate it if anyone can come to my rescue. Thanks so much.

Is the problem still happening after the battery pull?

What OS are you running on your device?

Who is your carrier? And what country are you in?

hello, i was having same problem with my 9850 but wen i updated to os 7.0 i noticed the same problem still but after about 2-3 days the fone started working normal again. just try to update ur os to 7.1 n see how it goes.

if that dosent work, do ur backup on ur system with the bb desktop manager then wipe the fone. when u want to restore, do not do a full restore just select the important stuffs like ur service book, ur bb messenger contact, ur call log, memo pad n so on.
