    good concept, but blackberry's infrastructure only allows messenger groups a maximum of 30 members. its great for staying connected with, family, friends, or co-workers and small groups but not on a large scale.

    They'd have to get rid of notifications for larger groups as well or your phone might set on fire.

    yeah thats a good point. haha. i was in a group with my wife and her coworkers and the group was active about 20 hours aday.
