Having used iMessage before on iOS5 it is no comparison to BBM. iMessage is really just a way to not have to use up SMS to fellow iPhone users. BBM is a multifunctional messenger platform that is integrated into apps, ect.

how would I know. Ain't never used iMessage and i doubt many people on here have. Probably got more apple fans that used to be blackberry addicts than the other way around
I voted for BBM. I use BlackBerry devices, so I'm really being bias because I've never used the other platform messaging service :)
It's ridiculous to even compare between the two coz iMessenger is not even a platform it's just a free SMS client service.
