Thread: A Message From a RIM Employee

We have all read and heard a lot on the RIM layoffs and how much of dire straits they are in, all of it being speculation. Not mentioned anywhere in the news or forums, is the human and emotional impact the layoff’s have had at RIM. Something that always gets pushed to the back burner and no one wants to talk about when this happens. Below is a brief message from an employee at RIM to all the people that have been layed off….

“A message to my fallen comrades.

We’ve lost a lot of friendly and talented
people, and you will be missed.
Thank you for enriching my life both at
work and outside of it.”

I'm sure a few of the people will know who sent this message, as he is a pleasure to work with and possesses an unforgettable personality.

Hopefully this will be the last time I’m asked to post a message of this kind. Time will tell.

Its a shame that people have to go through things like that.

@joshjamie, unless you can site a source for this letter, who it was sent to or something around those lines, I don't see how it can be credible... sorry

Thats true but it doesn't matter either way im sure that's how they feel.

You know I usually agree with you, but one thing is to state an opinion about how RIM employees probably feel, and it's a completely different thing to quote someone anonymous without a credible source...

yeah its most likely something made up, but I do know that people feel pretty messed up after getting let go. Its a shame the OP has no source to back this up.

Hey JoshJamie, this is old news. BGR posted a few disgruntled employee letters already. Without a source and names verified, it's beating a dead horse.
