Differences between the Torch 9860 and the Torch 9850

It has been a little confusing with all of these new new devices coming out. I thought it would be nice to have a little comparison for those that were confused including myself. I have put together some things that I have found, it looks as though the main differences are slightly better battery life on the 9850, raised buttons , and CDMA vs GSM.

One, the 9860 will be considered a 4G phone based on what AT&T and T-Mobile define as 4G. The 9850 will not be considered a 4G phone

They definitely will... Verizon has just been too busy kissing Android *** lately... soo annoying... I almost wish RIM didn't give them any BlackBerry devices...

I looking forward to AT&T getting the 9850. I'm really liking that one. Much thinner than my Torch, maybe means lighter too.

The 9860 is GSM & will not work on Verizon's network that is what have been reading. The 9850 is CDMA & will work on Verizon's network.

I don't think Verizon has much confidence on how great these phones really are. Which explains them not having the 9930 in stores at launch. Once they figure out that people love the phone and are buying it, they will change their tune.
