Thread: Prepaid BlackBerry Plan

Is there prepaid BB plans in the US?

A friend is going there for a 3wk visit and cant live without her berry. Her bold97 is unlocked. What are her options?

Looked at Metro and Boost. Does that mean she has to buy a phone so she can get the sim with BIS access?

Are there prepaid sims that has BIS access so she doesnt have to buy a phone?

Or can she buy the cheapest phone which is not a blackberry and activate the sim for BIS? Eg buy the LG for $29 at Boost and select the $60 blackberry plan?

These are questions for support from Metro or Boost as each company has their won loopholes, ect, on how you can activate your BlackBerry. I would recommend that you give their support a call on the specifics.
