Thread: Push software for BIS?

Ok guys new question I think. I have been google'n and not been able to find anything as of yet. I would probably pay a good 50 bucks for something like this. I am looking for a program that I could put my wifes and I schedules, appt., and all calendar info, on the desktop and push it out to both. I know you can do this with BES or i think you can, but is there a program or is it possible with BIS. I have a storm and she has a curve. If you have any ideas let me know. TIA

I looked at it a bit, but it seemed like you had to be connected to the desktop with your berry, and also didnt seem like you could use it on more than one e-mail addy, i.e.- we would have to set the calendar up twice once for each of us...or did i misread this?

thank you this is much better than what i found, now can you use one account with multiple phones? That is the onlything I am not seeing?

I have been trying to look through app world...like I said it doesnt have to be free. I just would like to be able to snyc two phones to one calendar

There aren't any good free options right now. Hopefully google will make something like google sync to work with outlook. I used a program called syncmycal. It does have a free version, but it is pretty limited. The full version was like $20 i think. It worked great.

I'm pretty sure Google sync will do this fine. Google Sync & Calendar are both free, so just give it a shot.

We use Google Calendar and Google sync here at my office and they work great.

I guess where i am getting confused is do how do i get it on two different phones...isnt it baisically derived off ur e-mail?

No, you sign up for google calendar online. And then download Google sync on your phone. All google sync does is send/receive changes made to your online calendar. Has nothing to do with email.

lol ok now im starting to get it thanks...thats where i was at a loss so two different phones can download the same calendar...cool...if anyone knows of other programs-even paid would be great to see and check them out...thanks again

It's not perfect but I found that more often than not it does the job.

I must be lucky I have never had one issue with Google sync. It is by far the only app I have that has never let me down

I still get the ocassional duplicates but besides that it does work pretty good. I will say nothing as good as MobileMe that Apple rolled out. That thing is better than sliced bread. RIM shouldn't learn from it's competitors because while google sync works MObileMe makes it looks like a 3 year old created it.

Really, I love Google Sync. Been on my phone since day 1. Never been unreliable.
