Thread: Blackberry Email Icon Missing . HELP !!!

Hi all, currently I have upgraded and downgraded OS for my bold 9700. Afterward I was found that my Email Icon was missing. I have tried to reboot my phone and even change back the OS but still failed to find it out. I have show all the icon as well. Anyone knows how to get it back ?

What kind of email do you have setup?

You may try the following to resend your service books:

1. Log into your providers BIS site
2. Click Help on the left hand side under Settings.
3. Click the link to resend the service books.



If that does not work you may be a little more aggressive and delete your service books and resend them. Take a look at the procedures by RIM.

To delete your service books:

KB05000-Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone

To resend the service books:

KB02830-Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

On the Home Screen, click on the menu and select "Show All". Make sure that Show all has a check mark beside it.

If the icon doesn't show up, go to the Blackberry Internet Service website and login to your account. Resend your service books. By doing this you click the Service Book link at the left panel of your BIS home page and then click the "Send Service Books" button. This will send the proper configurations to your device as well as initiate the creation of two icons for your email accounts.

First, log into your BIS account from your handset. This is under the Setup icon. Go into that, and then select Email Accounts. From there, you will get to your BIs login. Once you logged in, click Menu and select Service Books. You will see the screen on your right display on your BlackBerry.
