RUMOR ALERT! Could This Be The New Touch Screen Bold?
First, there was the Storm and then there was the Storm 2, and there will be a Storm 3. Now there's the Torch and soon, the Torch 2. Will there be an all new touchscreen Bold? Will RIM answer the calls of users wanting a touchscreen that's large like the Bold?
As soon as the first BlackBerry touchscreen device came out forums and blogs have been abuzz with users wanting a touchscreen phone but with the large form factor of a Bold; something bigger than the Storm series, but without the sliding keyboard of the Torch.
By the looks of it, RIM is on the run and hopefully answering our calls for a larger phone with the ever-popular Bold size and styling. We think OS 6.0 or QNX would look amazing on both a tall and wide screen!
We'll keep our eyes out on this one because even if it's a fake picture, we would sure like to see this phone get made! I personally would also like a feature on a touchscreen BlackBerry that allows for SurePress to be enabled and disabled.
My question to you is: What's your favorite BlackBerry touchscreen?
It needs a trackpad. I think I could photoshop one in, no prob.
Yes i would really like to see this one made.
That's a PS'd guess from '08 of what the BB Thunder might look like before there were any images of a touch screen BB, which later became the Storm. The screen on the S3 is supposed to be 3.7", over the S2's 3.25" screen, and it will have a capacitive screen (no SurePress), but it won't look like the Bold 9000.
It would have been cool though. RIM should have gotten on that before Apple jacked the 9000's bezel w/ the iPhone 4.

Definitely needing a 3.7" screen at least. 4 inch screen size is perfect for touchscreen devices.

lol, now you're talking!
