hi.....m totally confused in this, so plz hlp me, first of all, is thr any problem in this phone? what do u think how it looks? i know other blackberry models r good, but thr r cheap Chinese copies of them are available in market, so don wanna go for them, but if u have different views, plz give thm too...thnx :-)

Which one are you going to get the old one (rubbish) or the new clamshell "BlackBerry Style"?
The old 8220 has no memory to speak of, it locks up all the time.
It really is not a very good phone at all.

I bought a flip (8220) purely for the small size and all, but I would generally advise against buying one.
Number one reason for me is because of the difficulty in typing letters in. Also the camera lens is collects dust rather too easily while being very hard to clean effectively.
One the other hand, I like the secondary display (unlike most BB devices) that faces outward.
Overall I would rather buy a 9700 or others with full keyboards/touch-capability.

The RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 features a brilliant internal display and updated interface. The smartphone continues to offer strong e-mail support and adds Documents to Go. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 2-megapixel camera are also onboard.
The bad: The Pearl Flip 8220 doesn't offer 3G support or GPS. The SureType keyboard also takes some acclimation.
The bottom line: While its flashier siblings may overshadow it, the RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 should satiate the appetite of flip phone fanatics by bringing in a clamshell design.
